…..Answer: Hodgkin lymphoma.

Hodgkin lymphoma is a cancer affecting the lymphatic system, which forms part of the body’s immune system.

The lymphatic system includes lymph nodes, vessels and organs that help fight infection and manage fluid within the body.

Possible signs may include:

  • A painless enlarged lymph node
  • Unexplained fever
  • Night sweats
  • Persistent tiredness
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Itchy skin

These symptoms can have many causes and do not automatically mean cancer is present. Persistent or unexplained symptoms should be discussed with a healthcare professional.

Tomorrow we identify the childhood illness caused by the varicella-zoster virus.
