The adult mouth normally contains four main types of teeth:
- Incisors
- Canines
- Premolars
- Molars
Canine teeth are the pointed teeth positioned beside the incisors. They help grip and tear food and guide the jaws during biting.
Dental injuries can cause pain, bleeding, or tooth damage. A knocked-out adult tooth requires urgent dental care. Handle it by the crown rather than the root.
