What you might see: Sudden collapse, stiffening and jerking movements, drooling, loss of bladder control, or confusion after the seizure.
What to do: Protect their head with something soft, move objects away, and do not restrain them or put anything in their mouth.
When movement stops, check breathing and place them in the recovery position.
Call 111 if it’s their first seizure or lasts more than 5 minutes.
