If the person begins to feel faint, lie them down and monitor their condition.
Sometimes clothing made from synthetic fibres may stick to the burn.
If this occurs:
- Do not pull it off
- Cut around the stuck material
If cling film is not available, use a clean non-stick dressing or cloth.
Remember the priorities:
Stop the burning
Cool the burn
Cover the burn
