Remember the DRSABC!
Dangers – check for dangers to yourself, the person in need of help and any bystanders present.
Check for a Response – is the person responding to verbal stimulation or physical checks. The man was not responsive.
Send for help – ask a bystander to call the emergency services and request if possible, bring the nearest available AED. A bystander was asked to call the emergency services and find a defibrillator.
If the person is unresponsive – Open their Airway and check for Normal Breathing. The check has been made and he is not breathing normally what will you do now?
