…..found not breathing normally what will you do next?

Remember the DRSABC!

Dangers – check for dangers to yourself, the person in need of help and any bystanders present.

Check for a Response – is the person responding to verbal stimulation or physical checks. The man was not responsive.

Send for help – ask a bystander to call the emergency services and request if possible, bring the nearest available AED. A bystander was asked to call the emergency services and find a defibrillator.

If the person is unresponsive – Open their Airway and check for Normal Breathing. The check has been made and he is not breathing normally what will you do now?

Tune in tomorrow when we will go through what to do next with our person who is not breathing normally…..
