…..defibrillators in our community as far too many lives that might otherwise be saved are lost annually. Simply by adopting a Public Access Defibrillation program (PAD), a 24/7 accessible machine can be deployed and serve several groups at a time. Due to the size and population of New Zealand, we believe we should be a cardiac safe country with the highest survival rates from cardiac arrest in the world. Unfortunately this is not the case.
