….. Medication can only be given by medically trained personnel. A first aider may assist the person in taking it themselves; for example, fetch the medicine and a glass of water then hand it to the person to take it if they choose to.
Another consideration should be checking to see if someone is allergic to, say, paracetamol or aspirin.
