…..to high, the process will prove ineffective. When performing chest compressions, it should be undertaken from a kneeling position. Remain balanced with the weight spread evenly through the knees. The back is kept straight, and the elbows locked. Once positioned, the only movement required is from the hips as the rescuer pushes straight down onto the chest.
