I – Apply Ice for twenty minutes every hour (do not allow the ice to come in contact with the skin)

C – Apply a Compression dressing to the injured part

EElevate the injured limb, hereby reducing blood flow and reducing bruising

D – Get the injury Diagnosed by a qualified medical practitioner if the pain or swelling has not reduced significantly within 48 hours
