If it is a rug, it is simple, we need to remove it.
If it is the corner of the floor carpet then this is harder to eliminate, we then need to minimise the danger. Tape it down, place a table over it until it can be repaired. It this is not possible, put a sign up to make others aware.
At work we all have a responsibility for health & safety in our environments. If you see something potentially dangerous then report it to your health & safety officer. Follow up if nothing is being done, or go higher.
Take personal responsibility for your own safety and those around you…..we all deserve to go home at the end of the day 🙏
