Have your car serviced to ensure it is in good working order before going on your road trip.
Make sure you have a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, jumper cables and a flashlight in the boot.
Get a good nights sleep the night prior to leaving and take frequent rest stops on the way.
Plan for outings and pack accordingly.
Always wear your seatbelts and make sure all children are in the correct car seats for their age and buckled in.
Never drink and drive!
Driving and texting does not mix.
Slow down and enjoy the drive. Drive to the conditions.
